The action of the Italian Red Cross during humanitarian emergencies in Italy and in the world from 2009 to the present
8 April - 11 May 2014

For the 150th anniversary of the "International Committee for Relief to the Wounded" and the Second Geneva Convention, this exhibition consists of 80 photographic panels divided into sections, and traces the humanitarian work of the Italian Red Cross during emergencies, in Italy and in the world from 2009 to the present.

The exhibition proposes a retrospective interpretation of a family unit, with a matriarchal imprint, with the goal to reveal the most intimate facets of the complex metamorphosis of women through the generations.

The exhibition ranges during the second half of 900, and highlights the various ways in which the Italian landscape has been approached on the basis of different "schools of thought" to which belonged the authors.
